VYBZCYADONE ("we", "us", "our") is a Caribbean cultural community platform dedicated to connecting the diaspora through events, music, culture, and community. Our website is located at vybzcyadonee.com.

• Purchase tickets or merchandise (name, email, payment details processed by Stripe)
• Make a donation (name, email, payment details processed by Stripe)
• Submit a contact form (name, email, message)
• Subscribe to event notifications (email address)

We also collect limited usage data automatically (pages visited, session duration, device type) through our own privacy-respecting analytics system. We do not use third-party tracking scripts (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel).

3. How we use your information

• To process ticket purchases and send QR codes via email
• To fulfil merchandise orders and send shipping updates
• To send donation receipts
• To notify you about upcoming events (if you subscribed)
• To respond to contact messages
• To improve our platform and fix technical issues

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Payment processing

All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or payment card data on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy applies to all payment transactions: stripe.com/privacy.

5. Data storage and security

Your data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted on Amazon Web Services (RDS) in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt out of email notifications at any time

7. Cookies

We use a single session cookie for authentication (JWT stored in localStorage, not as a cookie). Our analytics system uses localStorage for session IDs — no cross-site tracking cookies are set.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
